Job Summary
1st grade Elementary Teacher responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating student learning experiences; helps students identify goals and make appropriate choices; encourages parental involvement; prepares classroom, aligns lesson plans with district courses of study, uses technology in instruction, administers tests, maintains accurate records, and collaborates with colleagues to support an inclusive learning environment and high standards of student progress.
Required Qualifications
- Must have current teaching license which covers grades K-5.
- Minimum Valid Ohio teacher’s license or certificate appropriate for the assignment.
- Meets all mandated health requirements (e.g., a negative tuberculosis test, etc.)
- A record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment.
- Complies with drug-free workplace rules and board policies.
