Job Summary
Assist classroom teachers with maintaining student records and supporting Tier 1 core instruction to ensure all students access grade-level learning. Actively facilitate small-group instruction and intervention groups based on student data, while monitoring learning needs and providing weekly progress updates to families. Implement a consistent behavior management system and host tutoring sessions to meet individual student needs under the direction of lead teachers. Participate in weekly meetings, before and after-school duties, and engage in year-long professional development. Minimum of 40+ hours spent at school per week with potential additional after-school or Saturday school responsibilities. Required Qualifications
- At least 48 college hours required or bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year educational institution required
- 1+ year(s) of experience working with children in a classroom or volunteer setting
- Basic knowledge of early childhood development and instructional practices
- Ability to work with young learners to support whole-group, small-group, and individual learning
- Ability to adapt to diverse learner needs
- Ability to provide clear directions, engage students, and respond to student behavior
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adjust and adapt to a multitude of situations in the school environment
- Minimum of 40+ hours spent at school per week
