Job Summary
Install, assemble, and fit piping systems in an industrial environment by reading isometric drawings and performing accurate pipe layout and fit-up. Work safely while meeting production schedules, with a focus on quality workmanship and safety commitments. Fit carbon steel and stainless steel pipe using specialized tools and equipment, including tack welding where applicable. This full-time day shift role in Bourg, LA requires 3+ years of experience and is ideal for candidates with shipyard, industrial, or oil & gas backgrounds.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of pipefitting experience
- Ability to read isometric drawings and blueprints
- Experience fitting carbon steel and stainless steel pipe
- Knowledge of pipe layout, measurements, and fit-up
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Available to work full-time on the day shift in Bourg, LA
