Job Summary
Install, repair, and hook up equipment for electrical services on a ship; must have working knowledge of electrical theory and be able to troubleshoot and repair shipboard electrical systems and equipment (600 V and less) in accordance with specifications and drawings; follow all safety procedures and implement Lock-out Tag-out for work performed; tests include basic electrical shipbuilding written test and hands-on electrical hookup.
