Job Summary
Sweep, mop, buff, strip, and wax hard surface floors to maintain cleanliness and appearance. Operate floor care equipment including buffers, burnishers, and auto scrubbers while following all safety procedures for chemical handling. Maintain and clean equipment after each use and report maintenance or safety concerns to your supervisor. Requires previous floor care experience and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. This full-time 1st or 3rd shift role reports to Amanda Engle at ServiceMaster Clean, where you help deliver cleaner, healthier work environments for clients.
Required Qualifications
- Previous floor care experience
- Proven ability to operate floor equipment (buffers, burnishers, scrubbers)
- Knowledge of proper floor care techniques, including stripping and waxing
- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, and perform repetitive motions
- 1st: 7am - 3:30pm Monday through Friday
- 3rd: 11pm - 7:30am Monday through Friday
- Full-Time position
