Job Summary
Conduct quality testing and inspections on all products to verify customer requirements and vendor specifications. Perform quality checks at start-up and during order filling, while maintaining accurate documentation for raw materials and the Quality Department. Ensure adherence to regulatory policies, including ISO, GMP, USDA, and food safety standards. Work in a team environment with physical demands involving standing, lifting up to 35 pounds, and prolonged periods on the production floor. Maintain confidentiality regarding company and customer information.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess good written and verbal communication skills
- Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, and precise in their daily duties
- Ability to function cooperatively and effectively in a team environment with peers and personnel in other departments
- Ability to keep company and customer information that is discussed or viewed while under employment with Truvant confidential
- Ability to adhere to all regulatory and company policies, procedures, work instructions including but not limited to: Truvant policies, customer specific policies, ISO, GMP's, USDA, regulatory food safety and food defense
- Must be able to read documents, printouts, computer screens and other communication
- Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with co-workers
- Must be able to reach, touch, grasp
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to climb, stoop/kneel, lift, pull and push
- Must be able to conduct yourself in a safe manner to avoid accidents while on the production floor
- Must be able to work in various environments based on building location and products
- Level of Physical Requirements: Sedentary to medium work level; lifting and positioning weight loads up to 35 pounds
