Job Summary
Locate and ensure correct material is delivered to the work center, verify nesting programs match print with work orders, and apply correct gas, speed, and consumables on the Industrial Press Brake. Ensure the machine is working properly, accurately project completion of work orders, and complete assignments on-time and correctly. Stage jobs correctly after completion and continually maintain a clean working environment. Notify Supervisor immediately of any problems or issues with the machine. Perform duties in a fabrication shop environment requiring lifting up to 100lbs, prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, and stooping, with exposure to noise, dust, odors, and chemicals.
Required Qualifications
- 1 plus years with Press Brake operation
- Ability to indicate vices
- General knowledge of plate bending operation
- Ability to read and understand prints
- Ability to read and understand measuring devices
- Must be able to lift up to 100lbs
- Position requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Position may require bending, kneeling, and stooping
- Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, and chemicals
