Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and rebuild heavy-duty diesel trucks and rolling stock using cutting-edge diagnostic software and hand tools. Plan and schedule repairs via the M5 planner, procure parts, and maintain a clean, organized work area. Assist in training and orienting new team members to share knowledge and help the crew grow. This role requires at least one year of hands-on experience, computer literacy, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds in a bustling repair shop environment. Candidates must adhere to strict safety regulations and possess valid work authorization. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available, paid in monthly installments over the first year.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least one (1) year of hands-on experience as a diesel mechanic
- Computer literacy
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 100 pounds
- Possession, provision, and maintenance of essential tools needed to perform heavy/hydraulic equipment maintenance
- Strong commitment to safety regulations
- Compliance with federal, state, and local laws
- Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located
