1st/2nd-Shift Diesel Mechanic

Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and rebuild heavy-duty diesel trucks and rolling stock using diagnostic software and hand tools. Plan and schedule repairs via the M5 planner, procure parts, and maintain an organized work area. Assist in training new team members to share expertise and help the crew grow. Maintain essential tools for heavy and hydraulic equipment maintenance while adhering to federal, state, and local safety regulations. Requires at least one year of hands-on diesel mechanic experience, high school diploma or GED, and valid work authorization. Full-time position with a $5,000 sign-on bonus paid in monthly installments over the first year.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least one (1) year of hands-on experience as a diesel mechanic
- Computer literacy
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 100 pounds
- Possession, provision, and maintenance of essential tools for heavy/hydraulic equipment maintenance
- Strong commitment to safety regulations and compliance with federal, state, and local laws
- Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located
- Valid documentation confirming eligibility to work in the country where the job is located
