Job Summary
Based at Mandarin Oriental Paris within the Bar team, the Barman/Chef de rang performs all operational tasks to serve food and beverages, prepare an exceptional beverage selection, and delight customers. As Chef de rang, you will oversee service in the Bar in collaboration with the Supervisor, be familiar with the menu, answer customer questions, master presentation techniques, and maintain close contact with customers. The role requires rigor, organization, attention to detail, courtesy, excellent interpersonal and service skills, and initiative and enthusiasm. Fluency in French and English is required, with a third language a plus.
