PT Assistant Manager at Ashley Stewart leads store operations, merchandising, and customer experience during assigned shifts. In the absence of the Store Manager, serves as manager-on-duty and Supervises Sales Associates. Responsibilities include driving sales to meet financial plans, aiding in goal setting and expense management, merchandising execution, grass-root event scheduling, and external marketing to build business. Responsibilities also cover customer service excellence, store zoning for optimal selling, product knowledge education for customers and associates, upholding company values, and ensuring effective communication with the Store Manager and other leaders. Additional duties include inventory monitoring, placing supply orders, taking 5s to relay daily updates, and maintaining store standards per policy. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of retail experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills, retail math ability, POS system proficiency, initiative, accountability, detail orientation, and the ability to lift 30 lbs, stand 8–10 hours, and work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.
