Job Summary
Probation Services Officer responsible for managing a caseload of offenders before and after sentence, including assessment, sentence implementation, offender management and producing reports. Role involves providing case management support to a range of people on probation, utilising service procedures and practice directions to underpin professional judgment, and working with agencies across the justice system to support offenders with housing and employment or other practical needs. The role, in the UK Civil Service, offers hybrid working where business needs allow, and may be based at various MoJ locations with pro‐working within the local region. Requires empathy, patience and resilience, and the ability to produce clear, accurate reports under tight deadlines.
Required Qualifications

- Experience in working with people with social or personal difficulties (preferred)
