Job Summary
As an Infant Teacher in our Williamsburg/Brooklyn center, you will lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers; manage a safe, nurturing classroom for infants/toddlers/preschoolers; implement the proprietary LEAP Curriculum to support each child’s development; create an engaging learning environment; regularly communicate with parents about their children’s progress through apps and conversations; collaborate with center staff and leadership to support enrollment and engagement; and build positive relationships with families and coworkers to foster a dynamic learning experience.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred; at least six months of professional teaching experience required
- Associates or higher in ECE or related field; degree preferred; High school diploma/GED required
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role
