Job Summary
Round on post-op patients and provide office consults one day per week with a designated surgeon. Perform EVH and chest closure in the OR, including thoracentesis, chest tube insertion, and care. Provide care to LVAD patients. This role focuses exclusively on cardiac surgery within the Piedmont Heart Institute team of thirteen advanced practice providers. Full-time employment is required.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of cardiac surgery/EVH experience
- Masters, Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification
- Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification
