Direct overall store management by controlling inventory and money systems, directing staff on customer service, product rotation, and stocking, and maintaining safety and security standards. Greet customers to ensure an exceptional experience, operate cash registers according to PMG standards, and manage cash controls and bank deposits. Execute daily store tasks with speed and efficiency, including assisting cashiers in sales transactions, cleaning, and stocking. Conduct or delegate cigarette inventory counts, trend sheets, and reports prescribed by upper management while adhering to all vendor check-in, inventory reporting, and employee discipline procedures. Supervise maintenance of the parking lot, gasoline pumps, trashcans, lighting, and general machinery. Communicate daily issues and challenges with management, ensure operational excellence policies are executed, and assist in training new team members.
