Job Summary
Facilitate electronic learning tools and deliver instructor-led, virtual, and hands-on training for Navy enterprise applications, including application workflows, operational procedures, and common user issues. Conduct readiness assessments of afloat and ashore units, troubleshoot systems, and ensure connectivity across enclaves for coalition partners during exercises. Develop and maintain training materials such as lesson plans, SOPs, and job aids while updating content with system updates and stakeholder feedback. Support classroom, lab, and shipboard environments, including OCONUS events with multiple ships scheduled weekly. Maintain training records, coordinate activities, and assist in audits and program reviews. Requires Secret clearance, 3-5 years of relevant experience, and familiarity with HCL Domino and Windows Server.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Recent and relevant experience with Navy afloat communications and knowledge of CAS and CENTRIXS systems
- Familiarity with Navy afloat IT systems and software, including but not limited to Windows Server, MS Office, and Trellix
- Availability to travel CONUS (Continental U.S.) and OCONUS (Outside the Continental U.S.) to Navy shore sites and afloat units to support and deliver training approximately 30% annually
- U.S. citizenship
- Familiarity with the Collaboration at Sea (CAS) (HCL Domino) program, Sametime Chat, Persistent Chat, Domino webmail, and Microsoft Exchange–based email
- Navy Instructor qualification (NEC 805A)
- Master Training Specialist (MTS) or Afloat Training Specialist (ATS)
- IAT II (Security+) or IAT III certification
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain an active Secret clearance that may be upgraded to TS/SCI security clearance
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an unspecified field of study
