Job Summary
Operate sandblasting and abrasive blasting equipment to clean, smooth, or prepare metal and other surfaces. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of blasting machinery. Visually inspect completed work to ensure surfaces meet required finish standards. Adhere to safety regulations and all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment. Work the 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM shift. This role supports surface preparation operations under general supervision for a team requiring strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident)
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
- Good hand and eye coordination and movement
- Comfortable working in protective gear
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to follow work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform visual quality inspections
