Job Summary
Check in all grocery vendor deliveries, including meat, produce, bakery, deli, and liquor, while verifying items against invoices for quality, count, and condition. Flag discrepancies and shortages, obtain vendor signatures, and post all invoice documents to the receiving log. Control vendor traffic through receiving doors, enforce store operating hours, and maintain clean warehouse, receiving, and spill areas. Operate bailers, pallet jacks, and forklifts in compliance with safety policy while ensuring adherence to health department, weights and measures, liquor, and tobacco laws.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Ability to reliably meet required work schedule and adhere to company attendance policy
- Ability to read, understand and follow through on verbal and written directions

- Interest in food and cooking a plus
- Customer service, restaurant, barista, food service, grocery or similar experience
- Self-motivated, with a high attention to detail, quality and presentation
