Job Summary
Manufacturing and assembling cables and wire harnesses, wiring electrical box assemblies, and managing cable routing through trays or conduit. Regularly use soldering irons, wire cutters, strippers, crimpers, hand tools, power tools, digital multi-meters, and calipers to install electrical components in racks and cabinets. Diagnose and fix electrical issues while assisting with equipment design modifications, including fabrication and testing. Requires 2-4 years of experience in 12v/24v electrical wiring and PCB assembly, plus a Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one. Must be a U.S. citizen. Salary is $24-$28 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in 12v/24v electrical wiring
- Proven experience with PCB assembly, soldering techniques, and surface mount technology (SMT)
- Strong understanding of schematics, electrical wiring, and mechanical assembly processes
- Experience reading electrical drawings
- Experience in a production/manufacturing setting
- Must be able to lift 50 – 75 lbs
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
Desired Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience is highly desirable
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
