Job Summary
The Customer Service Coordinator position requires a skilled individual to engage with members over the phone in a medical setting. Responsibilities include serving as a point of contact for customers, resolving issues in real-time, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong communication abilities, with a preference for those who have healthcare background.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years of combined education, work and/or volunteer experience
- HS Diploma/GED (or higher) OR equivalent work experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Active listening and detail oriented
- Strong computer and software navigation skills
- Strongly patient-focused and adaptable to changes
Desired Qualifications
- Health Care/Insurance environment (familiarity with medical terminology, health plan documents, or benefit plan design)
- Social work, behavioral health, disease prevention, health promotion and behavior change (working with vulnerable populations)
- Sales or account management experience
- Customer Service Experience
