Job Summary
Patrol assigned premises to prevent visual hazards and unauthorized entry while monitoring surveillance cameras and access control points. Report safety violations and property damage to supervisors immediately, responding to facility emergencies and alarms with urgency. Write clear daily logs and detailed incident reports while providing a high-quality, professional customer service presence. Maintain a highly adaptable weekly work schedule, willing to cover mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays on short notice. This part-time role offers a flexible pathway to full-time employment based on performance for those with a valid Texas Level 2 Security License.
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas Level 2 Security Officer License (Mandatory)
- High school diploma or equivalent educational credential
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
- Pass a mandatory pre-employment drug screening
- Maintain a highly adaptable, flexible weekly work schedule
- Willingness to work mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to accept open shifts on short notice
- 18 years of age or older
- Familiarity with security equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong attention to detail
- Must possess the values important to Per Mar Security – Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service, and Accountability
- Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screening and background investigation
