Job Summary
Lead and coordinate national, regional, and international financial-sector cybersecurity collaboration to strengthen resilience across central banks and related bodies. Facilitate and manage cross-border forums, coordinate the Operational Security Situational Awareness initiative with regular meetings and an annual in-person conference, align SARB cybersecurity initiatives with sector, national, regional, and international efforts, develop and maintain the SARB Group Cyber Resilience Framework and Cybersecurity Responsible Disclosure Policy, and ensure collaboration with national/state agencies (e.g., SSA, SAPS) as part of the National Incident Management Centre structure.
Required Qualifications
- Education: NQF 8 Honours degree or Postgraduate diploma and professional qualifications (as suggested)
- Experience: facilitation and coordination of national, regional, and international financial sector cybersecurity collaboration
- Knowledge: Financial Sector Regulation Act 9 of 2017 and National Cybersecurity Policy Framework
- Skills: leadership in driving cybersecurity structures and incident response activities
- Ability to coordinate large meetings and conferences (virtual and in-person)
- Relationship-building with central banks, state agencies, and international bodies
