Job Summary
First friendly face in the branch, responsible for handling routine member account transactions (deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, wire transfers, official checks, gift cards, cash advances) and providing excellent member service. Balances cash drawer, researches and resolves member inquiries, processes transactions accurately, and cross-sells bank services in a professional manner. Requires a positive attitude, organization, attention to detail, and willingness to learn; training provided. Part-time role with a minimum of 20 hours per week, base pay $22.00-$23.50 per hour, plus incentives. Paid time off, holidays, 401(k) match, and full benefits offered. Prior retail/service or financial institution experience preferred; strong communication and confidentiality of member information essential. Location-based in-person role at Mission Federal Credit Union branches (Chula Vista area).
Required Qualifications
- minimum of 12 months in the retail and/or service industry or 6 months in a financial institution, working in a branch environment
- Must have basic computer skills
- Accurate cash handling and proactive sales preferred
- Strong listening, verbal communication, time management and organizational skills required
- Ability to actively cross-sell products & services preferred
- Able to maintain the confidentiality of member information
