Job Summary
Conduct therapeutic and diagnostic procedures including ABG, PFTs, ventilator support, and oxygen therapy for adults and neonates under indirect medical director supervision. Perform prescribed cardiopulmonary diagnostics, prepare treatment evaluations, and operate cardiopulmonary equipment while maintaining infection control and safety standards. Interpret CXR, ABG, and PFT data using critical thinking skills and deliver care sensitive to diverse patient needs. Work rotating 3x12 night shifts from 6:30 AM to 7 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification
- NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification (must obtain within 1 year of hire)
- Currently licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by Texas Medical Board
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- At least 6 months respiratory care experience
- 3X12 Night rotating schedule
- 12X3 Night shift
