Job Summary
Conduct therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory procedures including ABG, PFTs, ventilator support, and aerosol therapy for adults and neonates under indirect supervision. Perform cardiopulmonary diagnostics, assemble and troubleshoot ventilators and oxygen delivery devices, and execute bedside assessments and treatment evaluations. Maintain infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards while utilizing critical thinking to interpret CXR, ABG, and PFT data. Work a 3x12 night rotating schedule from 6:30 pm to 7 am.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification
- NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification (must obtain within 1 year of hire)
- Currently licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by Texas Medical Board
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- At least 6 months respiratory care experience
- 3X12 night rotating schedule
- 12X3 Night shift
