Job Summary
In this highly technical, fast-paced Certified Respiratory Therapist role, provide evidence-based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, perform interventions and documentation, participate in quality assurance, and support patient care while progressing professional growth. Responsibilities include following respiratory protocols, ensuring accurate charting, maintaining compliance with lab and hospital policies, engaging with patients and staff to promote quality care, and contributing to a collaborative work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Currently licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) by the state of Texas
- Current Basic Life Support certification required
- Advanced Cardio Life Support, NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support where applicable certification - must obtain within 1 year of hire
- Certified by the National Board for Respiratory Care must be Registry eligible and obtain Registered status within 6 months of hire
- At least 6 months respiratory care experience preferred
