Job Summary
Plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program in an elementary learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. Collaborate with other faculty, align instruction with TN State standards, demonstrate independent thinking, creative problem solving, and abstract reasoning, maintain an organized classroom, and facilitate parent/student/teacher conferences. Continue professional development and participate in curriculum evaluation and development to meet student needs, while following school policies and EEO commitments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Teacher certificate with qualifying endorsement area
- FBI/TBI Fingerprint/Background Clearance every five years
