Job Summary
Define the migration strategy and target architecture for moving an on-premises AEM deployment to AEM as a Cloud Service, leading the team hands-on throughout the cutover and driving the upgrade path toward Java 21. Assess the existing on-prem implementation and plan the move to cloud while owning performance, security, and caching strategies for Dispatcher and CDN. Lead backend and frontend developers by setting standards and reviewing code, communicating technical decisions directly to US clients. This role supports a large, multi-brand website within Nortal's LATAM remote team, focusing on delivering complex digital transformation solutions for global enterprises.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ Years in software development with strong Java and architecture background
- 5+ Years hands-on AEM, including AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS)
- Proven experience leading AEM on-prem to cloud migrations
- Advanced English Level
- Effective communication in English
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with platform and runtime upgrades (Java 21 a plus)
- AEM Architect / Master certification
