Job Summary
Coordinate administrative and technical support for the Diabetes Wellness Program by analyzing memoranda, maintaining attendance and financial tracking sheets, and taking meeting minutes. Manage program delivery processes, including traditional medicine logs and supply orders, while ensuring timely information flow among staff. Greet clients, distribute correspondence, and review budgets to facilitate efficient operations within Six Nations Health Services policies. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safety standards while representing Wellbeing interests to external agencies and the public.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of Post-Secondary School in office administration
- Two years of equivalent experience
- High level of computer skills – Microsoft Office Word & Excel
- High level of computer skills – Electronic Medical Record
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Understands the importance of confidentiality
- Ability to work with tact and discretion
- Good knowledge of the Six Nations Community
- Highly sensitive to Six Nations culture
Desired Qualifications
- Relate effectively with people of all ages and their families/caregivers
- Able to work independently and work cooperatively with other service providers
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records
