Job Summary
Administer assessments like reading fluency and DIBELs to track student progress. Assist special education and identified students with lesson assignments, including reading, writing support, and daily living skills to reinforce academic goals and IEP objectives. Monitor individual and group students to enforce rules and maintain a safe learning environment. Modify classroom work, maintain equipment and records, and attend meetings to acquire job information. Confer with teachers to evaluate student progress and implement instructional programs.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma with 2.5 GPA
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Must meet State requirements
- WA State Apprentice Program (Voluntary)
- WSP/FBI Background Clearance
- Washington Sexual Misconduct Inquiry
- Fundamental Course of Study and General Para Certificate
- Operating standard office equipment including using pertinent software applications
- Preparing and maintaining accurate records
- Algebra and/or geometry
- Reading a variety of manuals
- Writing documents following prescribed formats
- Presenting information to others
- Concepts of grammar and punctuation
- Direct instruction/reading instruction

Desired Qualifications
- Experience Job related experience is desired
- Master's degree preferred
- MUST have a CDL
- 5+ years Python experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs

- Valid driver's license
