Job Summary
Design and maintain software applications and systems that leverage Japan's largest real estate dataset to uncover hidden market insights. Implement AI models and data pipelines, while building and operating MLOps environments including CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, and alerting frameworks. Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to drive initiatives from Proof of Concept through MVP development and commercial launch. Work closely with business stakeholders to define AI use cases and requirements, ensuring practical application of Large Language Models and generative AI in production settings.
Required Qualifications
- Strong software engineering experience with a proven track record of building and delivering production systems
- Solid foundation in software engineering principles, architecture, and best practices
- Experience improving system reliability, scalability, and maintainability
- Hands-on experience with multiple programming languages and technologies, along with the ability to select appropriate technologies based on business and technical requirements
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business, product, and design stakeholders
- Experience driving projects from Proof of Concept (PoC) through production deployment and commercialization
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and APIs such as ChatGPT/OpenAI APIs
- Knowledge of MLOps practices and machine learning infrastructure
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Development experience in startups or new business ventures
- Experience working in small, fast-paced engineering teams
- Experience in continuous product development, operation, and maintenance
- Project management and/or engineering team leadership experience
