Job Summary
RN Critical Care Float Pool, night shift. Full-time, three 12-hour night shifts (7pm–8am) with rotating weekends/holidays. Responsibilities include coordinating and delivering patient care using the Nursing Process, supervising non-RN staff, acting as preceptor to new staff/students, adhering to policies, promoting safety and collaboration, communicating with the health care team, and participating in performance improvement and regulatory readiness. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; CT RN license; minimum 2 years recent ICU experience; BLS & ACLS; NIHSS & PALS by orientation end; BSN strongly preferred. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Valid license as Registered Nurse in Connecticut
- Minimum of 2 years of RECENT ICU experience
- BLS & ACLS required
- NIHSS & PALS (obtain by the end of the orientation period)
- Maintain minimum of 6 contact hours annually
