Job Summary
Prepare monthly financial statements, variance analysis reports, and quarterly forecasts while creating and maintaining budgets, operating plans, and cashflow models across business units. Lead the proper preparation of CRA compliance reports such as HST rebates and ensure reports to funders mirror the general ledger. Supervise a team of Financial Analysts and Control Officers, develop financial models for strategic initiatives, and collaborate with the Director of Accounting on the annual audit process. Manage multiple projects and drive investigations to support the Chief Financial Officer.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 5+ years of working experience in financial analysis
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA)
- 2+ years Supervisory experience
- Deep knowledge and understanding of financial analysis and reporting
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interface with Department Managers
Desired Qualifications
- Masters in Business Administration (MBA)
- Knowledge of Sage, crystal reports writing or Business Intelligence
