Job Summary
To plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program in an elementary learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. REPORTS TO: Building Principal. TERM: 10 months (200-day contract), Exempt. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES include maintaining an organized classroom, curriculum evaluation and development to meet students' needs, collaborating with faculty, implementing curriculum and instruction aligned with TN State standards, fostering independent thinking, problem-solving, and communication with parents, and ongoing professional development while adhering to district policies. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree as required by the State of Tennessee
- Teacher's certificate with qualifying endorsement area
- FBI/TBI Fingerprint/Background Clearance every five (5) years
