Job Summary
The Site Manager operates and manages a Senior Nutrition Program, ensuring efficient distribution and serving of meals to seniors. Responsibilities include developing the meal service, supervising and training volunteers and employees, maintaining accurate records, overseeing budgeting and inventory, and participating in menu planning. The role requires regular interaction with seniors and community members to promote the program. Candidates should have supervisory experience and be able to meet health food codes, along with strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Two years of supervisory experience in a related field
- Ability to read, write and communicate well in English
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Before hire, submission of DMV driving record with less than two violations
- Must pass Fleet Test of The Salvation Army
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with the elderly preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Food Service Certificate
Additional Requirements
- Must not obtain more than two violations in a 12-month period
- May not obtain more than two violations in one year
