Job Summary
The Day Camp Activities Coordinator will oversee all aspects of the Summer Day Camp Program, working closely with children aged 7 to 17. Responsibilities include coordinating and leading activities, implementing positive behavior management procedures, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. The coordinator must excel in communication, manage conflicts professionally, and enforce safety regulations. Candidates must possess leadership skills, detail orientation, and creativity, with at least two seasons of relevant supervisory experience. A Class C License is required, and bilingual skills are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Must have a Class C License and be able to drive
- At least two seasons of supervisory experience in directing similar programs
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Must work well and relate well with people
Desired Qualifications
- Musical ability preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Ability to think creatively and outside of the box
Additional Requirements
- Must adhere to dress code
- Must maintain confidentiality regarding child issues
- Must act as a mandated reporter for child & elder abuse
