Job Summary
Oversee store operations as the Store Manager's surrogate during absences, including managing cash, inventory, and expenses while ensuring compliance with safety, appearance, and security standards. Complete daily end-of-day reports, process bank deposits, and conduct fuel price surveys and vendor check-ins. Recruit, screen, train, and coach employees; write work schedules and delegate duties to maintain sales and gross profit targets. Cover open shifts, enforce merchandising procedures, and address maintenance issues to ensure site readiness. Work long hours standing for extended periods, managing labor guidelines and driving overall site performance through collaboration and self-motivation.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write and understand the English language
- Ability and willingness to work long and sometimes unusual hours, standing for extended periods
- High school level math competency
- Collaborative work style, able to partner with all personnel to drive overall site performance
- Insurable by company's auto liability insurance carrier
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
