Job Summary
RN with at least 1 year of nursing experience required. Pediatric and specialized credentials are required for those administering chemotherapy, including ONCC and APHON chemotherapy/provider certifications, with related certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring) required within specified timeframes. Required Qualifications
- One (1) year of nursing experience
- ONCC Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Certificate for RNs administering chemotherapy
- AP H ON Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider card within 12 months for RNs administering chemotherapy in pediatric setting
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required for ICU, ED, PACU, Endo, Tele, OB, MHN Pre-Op and Specialty Procedural areas
- PALS required for Pediatric areas with exception of NICU (30 days to obtain if coming from non-pediatric background)
- NRP certification required for NICU (30 days to obtain if coming from non-NICU background)
- Fetal Monitoring certification through National Credential Center or AWOHNN before completion of orientation
- RN Fellowship specialties require 1 year RN work experience (except Refresh to Acute Care track)
- Newly licensed RNs have six (6) months to obtain ACLS and/or PALS
