Job Summary
RN - Specialty II at Memorial Healthcare System (Cooper City, FL) requiring strong critical thinking, effective communications, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful clinical environment. RN Fellowship programs require one year of independent practice, with ACLS and BLS required for fellowship specialties; newly licensed RNs must obtain ACLS and PALS within six months. Required Qualifications
- One (1) year of nursing experience
- ONCC Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Certificate required for RNs administering chemotherapy
- APHON Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider card within 12 months of hire for RNs administering chemotherapy for oncologic indication within the pediatric setting
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required for ICU, ED, PACU, Endoscopy, Telemetry, Obstetrics, and Specialty Procedural areas
- PALS required for Pediatric areas with the exception of NICU; 30 days to obtain if RN from non-pediatric background
- NRP certification required for NICU; 30 days to obtain if RN from non-NICU background
- Fetal Monitoring certification through National Credential Center or AWOHNN (Intermediate or Advanced) for L&D RNs must be completed prior to orientation completion
- RN Fellowship Program requires one year of RN independent practice not including nurse orientation
- RN Fellowship specialties require ACLS and BLS Certifications
- Newly licensed RNs have six months to obtain ACLS and/or PALS
