Job Summary
RN - Specialty II role at Memorial Healthcare System. Requires one year of nursing experience and multiple certifications for chemotherapy administration (ONCC Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Certificate; APHON Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider card within 12 months for pediatric oncology). Certifications required include ACLS for multiple critical care areas (ICU, ED, PACU, Endo, Tele, OB, MHN Pre-Op and Specialty Procedural areas) and PALS for Pediatrics (with exception of NICU). NRP is required for NICU if coming from non-NICU background, with 30 days to obtain. Fetal Monitoring certification (via National Credential Center or AWOHNN) must be completed prior to end of orientation. RN Fellowship Program requires one year of independent practice; Fellowship specialties require ACLS and PALS. Newly licensed RNs must obtain ACLS and/or PALS within six months of hire. - APHON Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider card within 12 months for pediatric oncology chemotherapy administration
- ACLS required for ICU/ED/PACU/Endo/Tele/OB/MHN pre-op and specialty areas
- PALS required for Pediatrics (except NICU)
- NRP certification required for NICU (if coming from non-NICU background) with 30-day window to obtain
- Fetal Monitoring certification (via National Credential Center or AWOHNN) before completion of orientation
