Provide critical thinking, effective communication, and decisive judgment in a stressful environment with minimal supervision. Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy under the ONCC Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Certificate, or obtain the APHON Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider card within 12 months for pediatric oncologic indications. Maintain required certifications including ACLS for ICU, ED, PACU, and Specialty Procedural areas; PALS for pediatric areas (except NICU); and NRP for NICU staff. Complete mandatory education requirements such as Fetal Monitoring certification for L&D RNs prior to orientation. Maintain one year of independent nursing practice for fellowship program eligibility.
