Job Summary

Manage childcare administrative operations by receiving and relaying messages, scheduling meetings, and maintaining accurate billing and financial records for parent fees within the Lillio childcare App. Prepare letters, reports, and presentation materials while managing inventory, filing systems, and petty cash according to established procedures. Greet visitors, children, and parents upon arrival and departure, and provide regular communication with parents to support the childcare program's compliance with legislative requirements. Ensure all invoices are transferred to finance for payment and maintain up-to-date employee time summaries. Work cooperatively with staff to support the program's effective and efficient delivery while adhering to Six Nations Council policies, health and safety guidelines, and the Early Years Childcare Act.

Required Qualifications

  • Community College Diploma in Office Administration or Ontario Secondary School diploma with two years related experience
  • Will have Food Handlers Certificate or willing to obtain within 3 months of start date
  • Must pass a criminal/vulnerable sector check
  • Must sign and submit an offence declaration every calendar year in which a vulnerable sector check is to be obtained
  • Must submit and ensure immunizations are up to date
  • Must submit a health assessment as according to Childcare Early Years Act
  • Must have a valid first aid/CPR certificate or willing to obtain within 3 months of start date
  • Excellent computer skills and demonstrate proficiency in current Microsoft Office Suite software
  • Valid Driver's License and transportation
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Must be able to work independently and as a team player within the Six Nations Social Services Early Years and Childcare and all other work environments
  • Must be able to work cooperatively and courteously with all staff
