Job Summary
Underground Surveyor responsible for providing accurate surveying support for underground development, construction, and production activities; update and maintain project and production blueprints and survey records; prepare and distribute survey plans and prints to construction, development, and production personnel; support planning and production meetings with survey data and technical information; operate underground and surface vehicles as required; ensure survey equipment is maintained and functioning; adhere to all safety policies and procedures and participate in workplace inspections and hazard assessments.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of underground mine surveying experience
- Ontario Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core is mandatory
- Proficiency with MS Office, MS Outlook, Excel, A-Mine, and Deswik software
- Ability to read and interpret mine plans and technical drawings
- Experience working in underground mining environments preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Outstanding safety record and commitment to safe work practices
- Thorough knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations as they pertain to mining operations
