Job Summary
Conduct daily underground surveying duties for development, construction, and production activities, including both lateral and vertical work. Update and maintain project blueprints, plans, and survey records while preparing and distributing prints to operations personnel. Operate underground and surface vehicles as required and ensure all equipment functions properly. Support planning and production meetings with survey data and adhere to strict safety policies and hazard assessments. Requires 3 years of underground mine surveying experience, proficiency in A-Mine and Deswik software, and an Ontario Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core. 14/14 rotation with 12-hour shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Canadian citizen or authorized in writing to work in Canada under federal immigration requirements
- Currently residing in Canada
- Minimum 3 years of underground mine surveying experience
- Proficiency with MS Office, MS Outlook, Excel, A-Mine, and Deswik software
- Ontario Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core
- Ability to read and interpret mine plans and technical drawings
- Outstanding safety record and commitment to safe work practices
- Thorough knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations as they pertain to mining operations
- 14/14 Rotation
- 12 hour Shifts
