Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer responsible for backend and frontend collaboration to support a live, production event-based hiring platform. Key duties include analyzing and resolving production issues during active hiring events, debugging across backend/frontend/data/system integration, coordinating with client-facing support and go-to-market teams to address tickets, monitoring production systems and SLAs, supporting architecture changes and system integrations affecting event workflows, maintaining event logic amid dependencies, owning code changes through merge/build/deploy, and mentoring engineers as teams grow. Required expertise spans Java/Spring Boot, Django/Python, React, Kafka, GraphQL, SQL/MongoDB, and end-to-end deployment, with a focus on data-driven troubleshooting and proactive ownership.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong Java and Spring Boot experience
- Django and Python experience
- React experience
- Kafka experience
- GraphQL experience
- SQL or MongoDB experience
- Build and deployment experience
- Production troubleshooting experience
- Experience working with support tickets, alerts, SLAs, or live production systems
- Senior-level ownership and autonomy
- Ability to lead, shepherd, and onboard other engineers
