Job Summary
Field Service Technician I performs comprehensive maintenance on stormwater facilities and vegetation management across customer sites. Responsibilities include hands-on fieldwork, safety adherence, and operating in diverse outdoor environments. Key tasks involve preparing herbicides or materials for application, communicating scope and timelines with customers, inspecting stormwater conveyance systems, applying vegetation-control chemicals with various equipment, maintaining records of chemical usage and disposal, ensuring proper handling of hazardous chemicals per regulations, operating and maintaining spray and power equipment, driving to work sites (with possible overnight travel), and developing licenses and skills such as core herbicide applicator licenses and growth regulator applications. Emphasis is placed on safety, teamwork, regulatory compliance, and customer service, consistent with company core values (Safety, Others, Integrity, Initiative, Passion).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to travel 50 – 75% by vehicle, with overnight travel throughout territory
- Willingness to work in a team environment
- Clear vision, with or without corrective lenses, including close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus
- Proficient in using various forms of technology to complete tasks effectively and efficiently
