Job Summary
Part-time custodian/janitor position responsible for cleaning and maintaining facilities. Responsibilities include cleaning hard floors (vacuuming, sweeping, mopping), stripping and waxing floors, wet mopping non-carpeted areas (entrances, lobbies, stairways, bathrooms), vacuuming mats, cleaning elevator interiors and fixtures, polishing metal surfaces, cleaning glass mirrors and trims, removing spills, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and plumbing fixtures, restocking supplies, and performing non-routine cleaning per Manager schedules. Must have the ability to work independently with great attention to detail, be physically enduring to cover large spaces, and follow instructions. Government security screenings (secret clearance, level 3) required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to pass Government security screenings - secret clearance, level 3
- Proven experience as a custodian/janitor
- Must be detail-oriented
- Must be able to follow oral instructions and write/read to interpret manuals and directives
