Job Summary
Evaluate and treat Cardiology patients in an inpatient setting including the ER and ICU. Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations, and record data in the patient's record. Write progress notes, consults, admissions, and discharge summaries. Prepare patient workups and order diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Collaborate autonomously with Physicians and other Cardiology Advanced Practice Providers. This inpatient PRN position at Piedmont Heart Institute offers access to dedicated electrophysiology, transplant, advanced heart failure, critical care, interventional, surgical, and research services.
Required Qualifications
- Masters or Bachelors Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification
- Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification
Desired Qualifications
- 2-5 years previous cardiology experience
