Job Summary
Assist in the evaluation and treatment of Cardiology patients in an inpatient setting and independently manage patients with heart failure in the Samsky Advanced Heart Failure Center. Order and schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients as direct patient care services are delivered while working alongside Physicians and other Cardiology Advanced Practice Providers in a collaborative team. This position largely functions on an independent basis with ideal candidates having experience with limited supervision. The role involves rotating in-patient and out-patient management at Piedmont Eastside in Snellville, Georgia, within one of the nation's leading cardiology programs and a top 10 national LVAD implanting center.
Required Qualifications
- Masters or Bachelors Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification
- Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification
Desired Qualifications
- 3-5 years of acute care cardiology experience with strong Advanced Heart Failure skillsets (transplant, LVAD care experience) preferred
