Job Summary
Answer incoming calls, chats, or texts from individuals and loved ones in emotional crisis throughout Pennsylvania, providing referrals for substance use and behavioral health treatment. Input and document all visitor interactions into appropriate systems, and conduct follow-up calls when necessary. Maintain warm, empathetic communication while navigating tough situations for those seeking help with addiction or mental health. Requires an associate's degree in human services, strong typing skills, and ability to work assigned shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in human services
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to work shift assigned
- Reliable transportation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Some computer and typing skills
